Two simple questions:

1) I have seen a lot of photograpers web sites where works are for sale.
Typically 300 for a print. I was wondering. Do the photograpers ever sell
anything?

2) I understand that many subjects are paid a token fee, usually $1.00, and
then sign a release. Do subjects / models ever get paid more, or a percentage?

Yes, but mostly those with recognizable names.

Models are usually only paid at the time with money or prints.

It depends on the photographer,....like as in who they are.
and how many shows and publications they have- 300 is a base price
for alot of people, not exclusively the correct answer. Look at what
Lenswork sell artist work for,........less than 300 by far!

I have seen work sold alot more cheaply, and a lot more costly. Its all about where you are
selling and who you are. Its also about the size an uniqueness of the image, the uniqueness of the
process one uses to create the image. Its a bit like antiques roadshow, in finding an
appropriate audience.

That depends also. What kind of image? The intended usage, etc. Who the model is etc.
Think Naomi Campbell (sp?) Will settle for a buck?
There are written resources for these questions. Try the ASMP books on buisness practices.
