Default Gotta learn to carry a longer lens even for casual walk-arounds

My 'standard ' is (Nikkor) 28-300 . A bit bulky and heavy, but covers
most bases at a pinch.

Better/sharper/faster lenses for planned shoots, but even then I'm
getting lazy.

This Acorn Woodpecker was shot with an XF 55-200mm through a double glazed door. An impromptu, opportunistic shot rather than a planned one.
