It is not a bad camera. Better than point and shoot but not a dSLR. IT
will be quite good enough for many people. I have seem pictures from the
next one up in the range win in competitions in magazines.

As it happens it is far better than a Kodak Professional digital camera

First take a look at the link that was posted, before you start discussing!
The advertisement states indeed that it's a professional SLR camera, which
it definitely ISN'T
It may very well be a very good camera, but difficult to sell at a
reasonable price because it uses Smart Media cards which are no longer for
sale in the shops these day...
