It does if is a 15 CF 5211/19B no it doesn't. he said his tv has hdmi, so all that's needed is a suitable hdmi adapter to connect via an hdmi cable, or for wireless, an apple tv or roku, both of which connect to the tv's hdmi port and wirelessly to a phone, tablet or computer (plus a ****load of other features). he also said he has a firestick, which requires an app, although that probably will not work particularly well. I asked because it works quite seamlessly with my LG TV. -- Cheers, Rob |

Nope, it makes me feel glad to be a competent netizen who is able to do basic research on my own. If anything, I feel sorry for people who have internet access yet don't know how to use it effectively. that's almost the entire planet. |

No research was even needed, as Roku was discussed in the thread in a way that made it obvious what it is. -- The Earth is like a tiny grain of sand, only much, much heavier. |

Is there any way to display my iPhone images on my television? still and motion? my television has an HDMI port and a coaxial port I have a Roku device, an Amazon Fire stick, and a Sony blu-ray that is also a smart tv device. Personally I use an AppleTV for that and wirelessly airplay to that, but there are myriad ways. -- "...there are many humorous things in this world; among them the white man's notion that he is less savage than the other savages." -Samuel Clemens |

Airplay was suggested as a solution for this on other posts in this thread. Airplay is set to on. On my Roku. But when I search the App-Store on my iPhone 7 I can't find Airplay there. AirPlay isn't a separate app, it's already part of iOS. https://www.apple.com/airplay/ It can depend on what app you're trying to play the video from. Some apps don't work with AirPlay. Siri looks different. Might be due to an update. Instead of a black screen I get a swirling circle. That's Siri's new facelift look that arrived with iOS 14. Instead of taking over the whole display, you get the swirling circle icon so you can still see and do other things on the phone at the same time. |
