South Gloucestershire in the UK. When I was a lad, you had to go to Germany to see them (there might have been a few in Scotland). I think they were introduced into North and/or West Wales, and also into the Chiltern Hills west of London. The Welsh population has been moving eastwards for some time, while the Chiltern population spread west. I'm not sure if they have actually met up in the middle now. |

As you say, Buzzards are now common over southern England and I think they have similar habitats and feeding habits. |
