Kinda expensive since you need a macro lense to begin with... not necessarily, however, quality does cost money. |

Not even some LED lightsource! Consider a slide duplicator and propper mount adapter if nessesary. The OP has an EOS IIRC: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=slide+duplicator&_sop=15&_osacat=0&_f rom=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xs lide+duplicator+ef+eos.TRS0&_nkw=slide+duplicator+ ef+eos&_sacat=0 -- teleportation kills |

Consider a slide duplicator and propper mount adapter if nessesary. that's what i said. The OP has an EOS IIRC: it doesn't matter what he has. slide duplicators attach to the lens. either the filter threads or clips on. |

Like the ones in the link below have. Way cheaper if you are on a budget like the OP seem to be. The goto solution for quality scanning is a dedicated filmscanner, with a few exceptions like Kodacolor Discs then a photo flatbed is the most reasonable solution economically, if you want do do it yourself. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=slide+duplicator&_sop=15&_osacat=0&_f rom=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xs lide+duplicator+ef+eos.TRS0&_nkw=slide+duplicator+ ef+eos&_sacat=0 -- teleportation kills |

No you recommended a expensive Nikkor addon... $140 at b&h. hardly expensive. a steal at twice the price. The goto solution for quality scanning is a dedicated filmscanner, a film scanner is certainly ideal, except that it's quite a bit more expensive than a duplicator. with a few exceptions like Kodacolor Discs then a photo flatbed is the most reasonable solution economically, if you want do do it yourself. flatbeds may be adequate for some people, but they're not as good as a dedicated film scanner. as for discs, they're going to be a problem no matter what. |

You're kidding! Nothing beats wet drum scans anyways... as for discs, they're going to be a problem no matter what. Well that was supposedly that that the OP wanted to scan... -- teleportation kills |

Not with a Nikkor macro lense in the kit... no need. also, the previous model nikon duplicator is $60 at b&h with free expedited shipping. an even better deal. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...13_ES_1_Slide_ Copying_Adapter.html |
