Amazing how a good soft box will light a face.

Depends on the subject. A rugged faced fisherman is best shot in
harher light such that his face suggests his hardy life...
generally, CW has us shoot the gents in harsher light than the
ladies.

OTOH, I paid a lot for my softboxes so EVERYONE has to suffer them!

Cheers,
Alan

How is it at ISO 1600?

If it is good, that plus a fast prime, and an antishake body, might be what
I need. I've been considering low light, no tripod, no flash solutions
for shooting in churches.

...like the rest of us, you'll have to wait as the striptease
continues... I would expect that it is similar to the D70/D100
in that respect.

Cheers,
Alan

I love the 2.5 inch monitor on the back, man, that is nice.

Judging from the only sample picture, which is half size, it's good.
