epson (or others) flat bed scanner vs film scanner
would someone comment on the comparisons between Epson 3170, 4170 flat bed
versus Minolta Dual Scan II or III? Let's say not that interested in scanning prints; only interested in scanning films. The epsons have medium format adapters. what about scan qualities, etc, etc? |

I have another recent Epson flatbed scanner that scans film, and a Nikon
Coolscan III. I hope this is close enough to be of use to you... The answer is that the true film scanner is FAR better. It is sharper and has better dynamic range.
