Sona A! 200MP pixel shift sample noisy and with CA
If you look at this sample:
https://www.dpreview.com/files/p/art...18_PSMS16.jpeg taken at ISO 100 what strikes is the relatively high amount of colour noise (visible on the blue body of the car or on the gray walls of the building in the rear). And there are chromatic aberrations, even in the centre of the image, for instance on the pipe running vertically along the building, the lamppost and everywhere else in the image. Now very wide (a few pixel at most), but noticeable. Now this is a composite of 16 images of a full frame camera taken at ISO 100. There shouldn't be any visible noise at this ISO level, also considering that 16 images were combined (and this should have reduced the noise). Regarding the chromatic aberrations, it seems that these were not automatically removed by the software which combined the 16 shots into one. -- Alfred Molon Olympus 4/3 and micro 4/3 cameras forum at https://groups.io/g/myolympus https://myolympus.org/ photo sharing site |
