001 Miranda/T2/m42 Thread Mystery

Well thats whats buggung me!

the threads on both my T2 & M42 adapyers are OK..as they screw onto both od their respective lenses (i have a couple of each)

The x2 lens that are causinf me hassle ..have a HARD end cap,that screws on without problem..yes plastis is a bit more givving..but honestly..
the cap goes on without any hassle..

I have looked at lens....cleanes with suede brush,downover to avoid anything falling into lens,soft cloth.....

I don`t mind any suggestions,even if they are repeated..

I appreciate the lads n lasses that frequent this group for any and all help offered

I asked before and missed the answer, did you try a T adaptor.
It's not the same as a T2.

BTW are these auto or manual diaphragm lenses?
