The young lady isn't bad either. I would burn down the white car a bit more. Burn ?! I understand that the white car is disturbing the picture, but don't want to correct it. Life is life. My eye keeps floating over to it and it could be a greater distraction if it was in focus. Sure. Having the young lady to the left allowed you to have the ice cream cones more on what some would say is a "power point" of the image. It also allows space for the young lady to "move" to. Right ! And the ice cream with a grey background, jump to the eyes Again, very well done. Keep at it. Thanks ! -- Daniel Rocha | Photographie http://www.monochromatique.com Correct, Life is Life. Burning the car to a softer contrast would have not ruined the image but inhanced the subject. Changing the angle or timing would have done more "harm" than reducing the brightness of the white car. It is only my view of the image and I always bow to the photographer who took the image as to how it should be. Such is life. Knowing when to just enjoy the image and shut-up about it. Keep shooting Daniel. You have improved greatly since I first saw your work. Draco Impress yourself. Others may agree but, don't count as much. |

A slight change of angle could have eliminated the burnt out sky, It's hard to show in a different angle. I must go forward in the street with cars... Impossible. and a shot 1 second later might have eliminated the distracting car. I have shooted various pictures, 1 second later and you have 2 cars in the frame. -- Daniel Rocha | Photographie http://www.monochromatique.com |

BRAVO! I have to respect a person that holds their ground and posts an "Is what it is" image. After all, it's a busy street on a sunny day with cars and people on it. Changing the car's appearance would change the whole mood of the picture. I vote to leave the image as it is. Thanks Rita Yep! And lots of photographers forget this and the work they produce show it when they display the typical boring run-of-the-mill Photo Shop image. Unplanned events and mistakes are part of life so embrace them. It's what I think too. Keep up the good work and enjoy every moment of photography. Good luck. The photo stands as posted .... a nice street scene. My comments were directed toward his next photo of this type. These are the things one should think about before tripping the shutter. |
