Reading EXIF info with Javascript
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1 Hi, I was planning to write an html page with pictures on it. The pictures are taken using a digital camera. Basically I was planning to have gallery of a few digital pictures I took recently. I wanted to know if it is possible to read the Exif info of the images using javascript. If possible I wanted to show a rectangular box when someone hovers over a "Exif Info" link in a browser. Any clues if it can be done in javascript or not? I know it can be done with PHP scripting but right now my hosting company does not offer it. Maybe they will in another 6 months, but in case it can be done with javascript it would be wonderful. Thanks. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFBDzJ/xei0qAn4ScMRAn4oAKDpJS/k+vN2x+09I2oaPxaVHWuURwCePoFw W1MMg/LNrToOYgxiH5YGIE0= =CVSq -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |

Reading EXIF info with Javascript
Have a look at www.jalbum.com. This uses Java to extract exif data.
