Default Reading EXIF info with Javascript

Hi,

I was planning to write an html page with pictures on it. The pictures
are taken using a digital camera. Basically I was planning to have
gallery of a few digital pictures I took recently.

I wanted to know if it is possible to read the Exif info of the images
using javascript. If possible I wanted to show a rectangular box when
someone hovers over a "Exif Info" link in a browser.

Any clues if it can be done in javascript or not? I know it can be done
with PHP scripting but right now my hosting company does not offer it.
Maybe they will in another 6 months, but in case it can be done with
javascript it would be wonderful.

Thanks.

Have a look at www.jalbum.com. This uses Java to extract exif data.

Would it be possible with "Javascript" (Java != Javascript).
