Where to develop digital photos in UK?
Login in to their web site. Look for Print@Net - you can install on your PC,
and then create orders and upload pictures, paying by credit card. Piccies will then come in the post. Piece of cake. "Jon Combe" wrote in message ... In article , Eatmorepies wrote: "JK" wrote in message 93.157... Where does everyone in the UK get their digital photos developed? I haven't had any printed since I bought my first 4MP camera. Online companies are no good for me as I only have dial-up, so couldn't upload them. I noticed Lloyds Pharmacy in town is advertising £4.88 for 50 prints, which I assume will be 6x4 or whatever standard size is. Is this a good deal, and has anyone had any developed from Lloyds? Good quality? Or are there any other good deals? I'd probably be looking to get around 100 done. I've used Jessops for 7x5 holiday snaps - very good and I think they arre reasonably priced. Do they still insist on only processing prints handled through one of those kiosks? I normally sort the photos I want onto CD first so I just want all CDs photos on the CD processed. Last time I went to Jesspos I queued for 25 minutes to use the (sole) kiosk and after waiting that long for the person in front (who still hadn't finished) I asked one of the counter staff if I could leave my CD (as you can with a film) to get prints for all and collect the next day (there was no one else in the shop) but they said no. Now I always go to Boots who do have a counter service and are happy for you to leave the CD and collect with your prints if it takes a while to download. Never had any problems in Boots and last time I checked they were cheaper than Jessops! Jon. |

Where to develop digital photos in UK?
Thanks for everyone's help.
I think I'll try either Boots or Lloyds first - still not decided. I haven't had the chance to go into Boots and check their prices yet. If there was a Jessops in my town I'd probably try them - I noticed one of their adverts in the paper today with an offer of £6.99 for 100 6x4in digital prints. A better deal than Lloyds. Now I just have to made a final decision on which I'm going to develop! JK __________ Online Casino Bonuses with Low Wagering Requirements http://xthost.info/casinotopten/ |
