I really wasn't trying to egg him on. And you can see ignoring him
hasn't led to him never posting again. Therefore, I thought a group
would be a good answer. Granted I might have bitten off more than I
can chew, since he posts so much wrong information, and I have more
work than I can handle. But I thought I'd give it a try.

I'm just bothered that jjs reacted the way he did. But then again,
this group has always been full of reactionary's to a certain extent.
(not meant in a total bad way mind you)

Can we give ignoring him another try. The reason for the trolls is to
get attention. Any kind will do. The people that have been involved in
photography for any length of time will simply laugh at his "advice" and
the newbees will catch on quickly.

It reminds me of when I go out on a photo shoot with a LF photography group.
When five or so of us go out and are photographing an area I get nervous when
I look around and see that I'm off by myself and the rest of the group has
passed me by and are busily photographing another area. :-)

When I first started dealing with jjs I thought he was seven kinds of jerk.
With time he's either mellowed or I've gotten used to him. I find that he
has a dry and subtle sense of humor and actually ussually knows what he's
talking about. Although he does tend to make things more complicated then
the need to be. :-)

I actually had good intentions with this but I can see some people just
can't get it. I personally am tired of MS, or UC, or whoever spreading
his crap and having newbies think its true. Thats why I wanted to
start s group that would be a depository to post the real facts.

But I guess some people just have to poo poo everything.
And if jjs or who ever he is wants to do so, then fine by me. At least
I'm trying to make an effort. Its more than I can say for his attempts
to correct MS posts.

Your really not that anon. I know who you are :-)
JJS just has a problem not being the center of original thought.
