Kelby Tour

Went to San Antonio last Friday to attend Scott Kelby's training class:

It was $89 but came with several goodies, like a free copy of Perfect
Effects 4 and a free 16x20 metallic print from MPIX.

The first hour was fairly basic stuff, but after that I got something
from every session. Plus, Kelby is entertaining, and it was fun seeing
him in person.

I was impressed enough to signup for NAAP. It was the normal price of
$99, but they threw in 1 Book and two training DVDs for free as a class
bonus. So I ended up getting his latest book on CS6 and DVDs on HDR &
composition. The retail price for those is listed at $175 total, so I
think the membership paid for itself. I wouldn't have spent $175 on
those normally, but I don't mind paying $99 for all three, plus get the
other benefits of NAAP membership.

He has upcoming stops in Boston, New York, Miami, and San Jose. See the
link above for details. As you might tell, I do recommend it.
