Really?! I haven't seen any numbers on the 18-105's resolving power. I'm
happy with mine, but haven't done any actual testing, or direct
comparison with a known really sharp lens (e.g. Tamron 60 or 90, or
Tokina 100). I'll have to do that one of these days.

Actually the MTF numbers for the 18-105 look pretty darn good to me! And I'm
comparing with Photozone's data on the Tamron 90 and Tokina 100.
