is your lamp orange ?

Yes orange like the fruit.

so, do you think orange filter is safe for multigrade papers?

Yes none problem with any VC papers.

At the beginning I used a red bulb. Safety was OK but I saw nothing in dark
Then I switched to a green/yellow bulb. OK and I see what I do but
I discovered Forte Polygrade or Polywarmtone was sensible to green/yellow bulb.

So I switched to that orange device. None problem since.

The green/yellow works better with graded paper. I now
work with graded papers for the better lighting possible. Dan
