No good, that's still going to cost me about US$1000." That would have incurred no further freight as my wife is going to be staying with her for a week in October. Have your wife reroute her return trip via the US with one overnight in NY, LA, or SFO. The great circle route from Switzerland to Aus/NZ goes over Asia, not N.A. So as a first guess it may be more expensive to start (though international fare pricing can be bizarre.) On that note, I would bet that if she booked back to back round trips, one from NZ/AUS to the US and booked another (while in the US) from there to Switzerland and back to the US that the total airfare would be enough cheaper that it would pay for CS6 in its entirety. This would take a lot of research and bargain hunting (not to mention resulting in more travel and stops for Mme Stevens) but could be a way through. Methinks the Duck was thinking about her shopping. Shudder. The last time she returned from Switzerland and the time before that when she came back from India she managed to fit a carpet into her luggage. -- Regards, Eric Stevens |

Keeps hr from shopping. One member of my CC pays much more for his lenses and cameras than most. There is a jewelry store is two down from his camera store, his wife encourages him to get the latest. He pays more for her jewelry than he does for his new toys. -- Peter |
