Default FS: Sigma 135-400mm f4.5-5.6 APO aspherical lens for Nikon

Auction ends early Sunday night (tomorrow):

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...e=STRK:MESE:IT

A Sigma 135-400mm f/4.5-5.6 APO aspherical AF/MF lens for a new or
experienced Nikon photographer!

I love this lens, but I am changing equipment and no longer have a use for
it. The lens works as perfectly as the day I bought it, and the glass is
pristine. There are two very minor scuffs on the lens body (visible in the
picture below), and there are a few minor scuff marks on the lens hood, lens
cap, and removable tripod collar. The lens has been treated very well over
the 4 years or so I have had it. The carrying case is unused and in mint
condition (I used a different case for storage and transport).

This lens will work with all digital SLRs made by Nikon including the D50,
D70/D70s, D100, D1/D1X, D2X, and so on. I have used this lens with a Nikon
D70.

This D-type lens will also work with most film SLRs made by Nikon over the
past 20-25 years or so. I've used it on a Nikon FM, F60/N60, F75/N75, and
F80/N80. It works in both auto focus (for those cameras that support auto
focus) and manual focus modes. If you are in doubt as to whether this lens
will work with your camera, fire me a message and I'll find out.

The lens is rear focusing, which means the front of the lens does not rotate
with use, which is a bonus for polarizing filters. Uses Sigma's APO design
with one aspherical lens and three SLD (Special-Low-Dispersion) glass
elements for sharp and high contrast results throughout the entire zoom
range. More technical details are available on the Sigma Photo website.

Bonus for you: I am including a Hoya 77mm UV(0) filter with this lens
(normally a $36 item at B&H Photo).

Package contents:

a.. Sigma 135-400mm F/4.5-5.6 APO Lens
b.. Original front and rear lens caps
c.. Original rotating and removable lens tripod collar
d.. Original lens hood
e.. Original lens carrying case with shoulder strap
f.. English user manual
g.. Hoya 77mm UV(0) filter
Winning bidder pays for shipping.
