Problem with Kodak EasyShare and Ofoto Upload
Just bought a Kodak EasyShare DX4530 and Dock II. The issue revolves around
the EasyShare software (v4.0.0.130) that came with it. I want to add pictures to Ofoto.com (already have an account) and I understand an upload/create album feature is built into the EasyShare software. However, the Express Upload option under the File menu is grayed out (I've tested being online with two different providers). An attempt to download the Express Upload software from Ofoto.com failed. Maye that hosed it. Extensive searching of FAQs, help, readme's, Google search, newsgoups, etc. has turned up no answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Terry |

The answer lies in the software that came with the camera. For several
reasons that I will not go into here, some cameras ship with a version that does not have the express upload feature enabled. The easiest way to get it is to upgrade to the latest version from Kodak.com (http://www.kodak.com/go/easysharesw) The download version always has the links to ofoto in it. William,
Thanks for the reply and information. I was planning to do that tonight. Would you know if I can download the whole EasyShare software package (24MB)? I tried downloading it, but alas it is just an installer exe. I have broadband at work but only dial-up at home. Thanks. William,
Thanks for your reply. That did the trick. Sometimes I don't know why it is so hard to find the answer. I sent the same exact message to Kodak support via email and received a useless boilerplate response, twice. Thanks again. Terry The answer lies in the software that came with the camera.
