Default Fungus on Slides

Actually, if the slides are valuable, the first thing you should do is
either make high grade dupes, "repro grade" or make really good scans.

Many times the emulsion is gone (eaten by the micro-vermin) under the
deposits, when the slide is cleaned you are left with clear areas of just
plain film base.

I am seeking your advice on the right solution to use to clean fungus

growth
on some slides. There is also what appears as a pinhead sized black

points.
Both are not extensive, and I am hopeful that they can be cleaned. What

do
you think I wonder? I appreciate it very much.
