Default "New" Sony Alpha 390 DSLR gets heavy criticism

The Alpha range is dying.

I hope you're wrong.

They certainly deserved the thrashing they got for the 390. They
honestly haven't made anything really decent IMHO since the A-700 (but
then again I'm a bit spoiled since I *have* the A700). Certainly none
of the lower-end models give me any reason to get rid of my A-100
backup, either.

Sony needs to get their heads out and start turning out some quallity
bodies again. An A-700 successor would be a good start.
