20D ---- aka "D70 Killer"

580EX Speedlight
Powershot A
Powershot G6
Powershot S70
EOS Rebel T2
Sure Shot Z180u
3 new wide angle lenses

Meanwhile Nikon continues to become a tinier little spot in Canon's
rear-view mirror.

WHO RULES ????

CANON RULES & Nikon DROOLS !!!

Boo-****in-hoo.

Industry leader my ass. The only area that you seem to see a lot of Canon
stuff in is sports. Kind of limited market, especially considering that it
is the worst paying field of photography there is. Even mall photographers
earn more with Seagull cameras than sports photographers do with Canon
gear.

But your writing this thread reminds me of my two year experience with
Canon:

D30 - died after 14 months of average use. Had to threaten legal action.
BG-ED3 grip - I went through THREE of those in two years.
420EX - two of those suckers.
550EX - two repairs.
28-135mm IS lens was very wiggly when I traded it in.

Yep, gotta love those industry leaders!

Wouldn't that be "D100 Killer"?

That too. And unfortunately makes things a bit bleak right out
of the gate for those of us looking forward to the first Minolta
Maxxum 7D that will come out this fall...

Cheers,
Alan

The D70 was the D100 killer, if I remember correctly.

Careful there - your starting to sound like a Canon version of the

preddiot.

I think Annika did it first--Google Groups archive will show he was

taking
this line way back in '00 or '01.

Giving Annika/Bret his due, he's nowhere near as irritating as
the Prediot.

The difference is...Bret sounds like an ass intentionally.
George has no choice.
