Default 6x6 Slide Mounts...

I got my first MF Slide Roll Developed...
It turned out great...
Though, the lab didnot mount the slides...

Therefore, I started hunting for some 6x6 Slide Mounts...
To my surprise, it seems they are no longer available (atleast in
India) ...
[I dont know how profressionals arange them ?!...]

Is that the case elsewhere as well !?...

Do you know of a reasonable mail service (bulk of course)...
[Better still if someone knew an AUS provider; though others are ok as
well]

Are you going to project them ?
If not what is your need to have them mounted ?
I leave all my 120/220 slides and negs into PrintFile or ClearFile sheets,
cut in strips of 3 frames, IHMO a good archival method and a faster way to
review them on a light table + loupe.

I have several hundred Bair 6x6 mounts that I will not be using. I
can sell these to you. How many do you need?

Dare I ask, what do you do with 6x6 slides if you don't project them?

No. There are several manufactures making 6x6 (and 6x4.5) slide
mounts, both without glass and with glass (also antinewton glass).

From my experience I would recommend GEPE slide mounts. They don't
need any accessory to hold the slide centered (they have an inner
metal frame with tabs under which the slide is held) and are available
in all mentioned varieties.

I choose the ones I want to have printed, I scan them and then print it.
And look at a MF (and even better a LF) slide on the light table is a
pleasure itself.
I don't like negs.

I'm sure it is. If you peer closely 35mm is when you hold them upto the
light so 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 must be better.

Mind you I do not have the means of printing colour or slides. Not I
suppose that that should stop me getting someone else to print the odd one
for me.
