Default Needing help with Rebel and strobes

I recently borrowed a Canon Rebel EOS because a client I'm shooting for
prefers that I shoot digitally. (Please keep in mind that I've only
shot digitally once. I'm more used to shooting MF or LF film.) I
thought the Rebel would've had a place to plug in a sync cord for
strobes, but it doesn't. Is there a slave unit, etc. that anyone could
recommend for me to use? I'll be using Photogenic StudioMax III
strobes.

Thanks in advance.
