Nope. I scourged the entire online lens museum for fluorite elements :-)

(...that also tells us that the non-IS 300/2.8 shared the design with the
FD NEW 300/2.8... including one fluorite element, of course. And here I
thought Canon redesigned their lenses at absolutely /every/ opportunity ;-)
