I'm interesting in finding out more information in techniques used to stalk
animals for photography. Any good sites you have encountered on this topic? Thanks, Brad |

I won't make any comment at all regarding the value of the info, but my own page on stalking can be found at http://wading-in.net/Stalking.html And I somehow missed mentioning some of the obvious, such as sun at your back, wind in your face. Skip the cologne, or even eating anything with onions. Stay in deep shadows whenever possible. And shut off the camera's little helpful beeps and clicks (and autofocus-assist lights) if you can. The deer I was shooting less than an hour ago focused on me because of the soft sound the lens made during *manual* focus. Hope any of it helps. Good luck! - Al. -- To reply, insert dash in address to match domain below Online photo gallery at www.wading-in.net |
