The Sigma SD10 and both the kit lenses offered with it are made entirely
in Japan and labelled as such under EU law.

You can't say the same for Canon, Nikon or Minolta (unsure about Pentax)
but just to set the record straight the SD10 is MADE IN JAPAN.
Insinuations (hey, that's a word-sound pun!) about China are just
p-in-the-w.

Maybe instead of 4 cameras you should have bought some media so you could
take photos...

As for the Rebel II, That seems possible as previous Canon DSLRs had about a
one year production run. I do expect a 10D replacement, and a EOS 3 based
DSLR. Pentax will show their usd $900 DSLR, and maybe a *istD 2. Minolta
will debut a Maxxum 7 based DSLR and rumours now of a Maxxum 70 based econo
DSLR in the Rebel price point. I can say Photokina 2004 will be very
interesting.

That's my take. The Digital Rebel is still less than a year old (9 mos
or so), and the 10D now a bit over a year old.

But Canon could surprise.
