SD Replacing Compact Flash?

That's interesting; less than an inch on a side.

It seems to me that this is something that's really meant to be
inserted into a device, and left there, but can be replaced if needed.
Use in a camera would be OK if the user connects the camera tot he
computer/printer, but removing/replacing a card this size as I do with
my CF cards doesn't seem practical.

I do it with the SD cards, but they are on the lower end of the scale of
'easy to handle', and I spent 10 minutes looking for one I dropped on
the carpet one day. It had bounced under the edge of a desk...
