EOS A2e Command dial - broken
"photo" wrote in message news:23SMc.111595$ek5.87300@pd7tw2no... My EOS 5 (A2e) has a broken Command dial. It spins freely with ease. I can change the modes by pressing down on the immediate center of the dial and turning it. But right now it's often difficult to know what mode I am in. Anyone have suggestions? Is this problem correctable at home, or does it take a technician? Thanks for the help, Mark This is a common problem with this camera. Type in A2 command dial on your favorite search engine, and various repair shops will come up who can fix it.
