Great job! It looks like Mr. Bumblebee has a collapsing thorax. I assume
this is from Mr. Lynx beginning his feeding. I am getting more and more
into Macro. Did you handhold this or shoot on a Tripod?

The decisive moment for one is death, for the other merely lunch.

Love it! Great shot. The full size v. is amazing!

Cheers,
Alan

This one was shot on the tripod, but many of the hand-held-shots came out
equally detailed, I just need to remember to cut off the IS in the lens when
on the tripod.

Thanks,
Jim Kramer

Excellent shot Jim. Full res makes it look like that guy could make a meal
out of a small child.

vm

After being very disapointed with the 75-300 lens at 300mm for doing macro
work; I am pleased with the results when the lens is midway in the zoom
range, stopped down, and used with extensions. My only wish is the DOF was
a bit deeper, but I'll live with this shot.

Thanks for looking,
Jim Kramer
