Default Capture One Ranters: Please Read

Let's save these boards for the great technical help they provide and place
our rants and chants about Phase One / Capture One shortfalls and
deficiencies in one convenient place:

Happy Ranting :-)

News groups are the original Internet. All that new-

fangled
World Wide Web stuff is for children anyway. :-)

Hadn't heard that one! As to Usenet and NGs, I can't stop
my doctor friend from calling NGs "chat rooms". He's an
AOL'er, a good doctor, and a good friend, so I gave up
trying to get his terminology right.

He fell right off his chair when I started in on HTTP vs.
SMTP vs. NNTP!

I cut my teeth on BB's at 110 baud with an accoustic
coupler, thought that 300 baud was fast, and later still
thought I'd died and gone to heaven with 1200! Isn't
technology great?

I paid $525 for my first 1200 baud modem (Hayes - which was the top of the
line at the time) and thought it was great. Times change.

Modem? I used to have to yell "ONE" and "ZERO" into the phone repeatedly to
send messages.
