Default Thickness of front-cell shim for 210mm APO-Sironar-W?

Does anyone know if this shim is a standard thickness, and if so, how thick
it is? Or did each lens get its own shim to optimize its performance? Mine
came with no shim, but most APO-Sironars I've seen or heard of had a
shim between the front cell and the shutter.

This is the 210mm APO-Sironar-W (the big one, in Copal 3), not the APO-N
or APO-S.

Thanks.

Yes. Most lenses will have a shim but some won't. The lenses
with shims will have varying sized shims, with a majority having
a shim thickness in the middle of the shimming range.

I should clarify this: if the manufacturing tolerances of the
lens mount and shutter are good enough for the lens design then
no shim is needed.
