Now they have to figure out how to explain to Windows developers that they should still be making "universal"/Metro phone trinket apps instead of real software, given that the desktop is the only serious MS presence left. As nospam said, it's been dead for awhile, but it is significant that they've admitted that and acknowledged they're dropping development.
