OK! I checked that GoogleGroups Group from your link, and from three of the Usenet clients I am using, Hogwasher, Unison, and Usenapp (Beta).

I have a few observations:

1: the original post was done in HTML, note the poster’s info with HTML doodles.

2: here is how the post appears in each of my three Usenet clients:

My conclusion is Google Groups, together with the OP’s client “Seamonkey� somehow allow HTML posts.

Also, judging by the depth of crossposts, the groups crossposted to, and the absolute crappy nature of that NG it seems that the OP is a TROLL, and one has to question your judgement in even thinking of visiting rec.arts.tv let alone subscribing to it, but then you use G2, and GoogleGroups.
