Can anyone recommend a website where I can post
photos or create a slide show with or without music
that will allow me to email links to friends so that those
who are interested can view the slideshow without
having to register or join the site?
Thanks.

John

Phanfare.com costs about $50 a year, after a free 30-day or so trial,
but also allows visitors to download the original, full res picture --
if you set that option. Do a Google groups search for phanfare to see
earlier comments, including mine, but note that recently they
instituted some of the changes some of us wanted to see -- notably the
ability to download entire albums at a time, and the ability to see
full screen versions of the photos in slide show. No ads, no joining
for visitors, but there's an annual fee. A good tradeoff in my
opinion, but each person will have his or her own tradeoff matrix.

If you use Photodex Proshow (either Gold or Producer), they
have a sharing site you can have your slide shows on.

Do you want to post without registering or do you want your friends to
not have to register in order to view?

One doesn't have to register to view on http://www.flickr.com among
others. One does have to register to post though.
