On 1/6/2005 7:28 AM PGG spake thus:

I live in Madison...grow up very close to JJS's area.

You ever go to Ella's? or is that now just a tourist place to go?

ObOnTopic: That place ought to be worth at least one or two interior shots ...

Civil threads do make for developing valuable and useful
understandings.
Even if occasionally slightly off or on the edge of a topic that others
might question.

Look, we drift from time to time. It's not a bad thing.

Let's discuss this in email so we don't bother people who want to read
things on topic. I'm killfiling the thread so I don't get tempted to
contribute more noise myself.

I am making it simpler. I'm killfiling you.

Yup. It's about large format equipment. And the use and users of it.
And that's all this inquiry is about.

I guess I misunderstood. When you said you wanted to compile a permanent
list here of who the hams are among us I thought you meant you wanted to
compile a permanent list here of who the hams are among us.

I live in Madison...grow up very close to JJS's area.

Hey, I was scheduled to be in Madison today, but the weather put us off.

Were you really? Why were you going there? Do you go to Madison a lot? Did
you grow up very close to JJS's area too? Are you a ham radio operator?
Please, do tell us more about yourself, especially your travel plans. I
guess Collin was right. "Slightly" off-topic threads like this really do
produce some terrifically interesting , not to say relevant, information.

That's Wisconsin and amateur radio, for the uninitiated.
Just curious
1) who the fellow Wisconsin residents and frequent visitors are among
us?

2) who the hams (not necessarily from Wisconsin) are among us?

Just reply to the list so we've got a permanent record, all in one
place. Thanks.
