Default Chimping reaches epic and epidemic proportions!

Yes, it was a sight to see this morning during a news briefing at the
Pentagon. Most of the PJs there were chimping like they just fell of a
truck carrying 20,000 pounds of bananas. I'm not sure why this was
happening, but it was funny as hell and I shook my head in disbelief. These
guys know better. Is this a new trend? Would immunizing your LCD with
black electrical tape cure chimping? I did notice most chimpers were Canon
shooters. For Christ's sake it's not like they are at the Superbowl.
There's no reason for all this chimping!

Rita

No, of course there is no reason - they all just heard about it or
copied it because they saw the others doing it. As always, and being
an experienced PJ herself, Rita knows best. I expect them all to stop
as soon as they read this.

Hey, here's a radical idea - when they are not busy shooting, why
doncha go and *ask* one next time - it will be so embarrassing for
them as they struggle to find an answer!!!

If it was such an amusing scene, why didn't you capture it and show us?

Unless the lighting characteristics change, there's no reason to keep
looking...

Sure there is. If you give it a little thought you could probably
think of at least one.
