[OT] Man I'm getting frustrated!

Here I am, sitting on my ass trying to watch TV, and there's all
these channels that suck! Home Shopping Network, CBN, MTV, and the list
goes on and on! Stupid shows that never change, no matter how much or how
loudly I shout at the TV! And there's dozens of them!

I tried calling my cable company to make them get rid of these dumb
channels, but they refused. Refused! ME! The impertinent bitch actually
told me all I had to do was not watch them, and then went on about how I
could program my remote. Imagine! She wants ME to go to any effort
whatsoever on choosing what I watch! What kind of world do we live in?

Anyway, I thought I'd pass this on to all of you because I'm pretty
sure not one of you gives a damn about my needless whining and my inability
to ignore something uninteresting. That's what great about Usenet! By
posting, people can't ignore me! Hah, let's just see them TRY!

I think admin may be the cable company,
but they don't understand that not everyone is inclined to continuously
reprogram their remote control, or even able to do so, for that matter.

All these channels are the video equivilant of trolls. Unwanted, stupid, and
always in the way. Fortunately, my filter is working great, and I see almost
none of the posts that others complain about.

Tell the TV you're not ever going to watch it again. It's also more likely to take notice if you
include in your (dramatic) departure statement that you've been watching it for 3 years hoping it
would improve but that the opposite is the case.
