I messed around a bit with Adobe's CC Cloud Storage and put two files in the http://adobe.ly/1LSA4zO Older grandson at first base http://adobe.ly/1RgcNLN Younger grandson at catcher It seems to be an unweildy program compared to Dropbox, but I may not have the hang of it yet. To send a link to an image... You have to start somewhere. My steps a 1. Open Creative Cloud with desktop icon 2. Click View on Web 3. Click on image to be linked to 4. Click Share You don't have to click on share. On the right look for "Access" and you should see a rectangular button with a closed padlock and the word "Private". Click on that and a dialog for creating a public lick will open. With advanced options you can choose to allow downloads and/or comments. I then close that dialog as the link is no in the image information column on the right. 5. Click Send Link (with the envelope icon for email) 6. Create Public Link 7. Right click on link address and copy link address* Yup! Right click and select "Copy Link". 8. Paste link address in this message. *The address is also at the lower right, and that can be copied. Am I doing this right? That should work to get you started. PS Add a comment on the images. I want to see where that appears for me. When you go to the file online, on the left just below the file name you will see "Details" and "Activity" The comments will be in "Activity". I left a comment with the first shot. -- Regards, Savageduck |

I forget if he made the throw in time. I saw the comments. The runner was out if I remember correctly. I have to sign in to comment. My comment on the first did not reappear. I have a bunch of folders with projects and shared stuff. I responded to your comment, without signing in. Did it work? Peter has a comment about a determined look on face. The Duck has comments on all three. BTW, when a comment is left, there's a pop-up on my desktop that tells me what was said. These shots were taken back in April, I think, so I may not remember what happened on the actual play. Pop Warner football season is about to get underway, so it will become more difficult to photograph the boys. With baseball, I can anticipate the play and be ready to shoot. Football's a bit harder. The players are further away, the angles aren't as good, and it's difficult to follow the player once the action starts. It's even difficult to pick out either grandson. The long hair hanging out of the helmet Clay Matthews style, and the color of the shoes and socks is about all I have to go on. At this level, the players furnish their own shoes and socks, so the colors may be different. Neither gets to carry the ball, and ball carriers are the easy shots. The younger is the center and the older is on the line. Most of the time the shot is just a pile-up. Good baseball shots come from anticipating the action. I can't anticipate where the play will go in football. The boys play both offense and defense, so I can't even anticipate which side of the field I want to be on. Good shots don't have to be during the action. Sometimes the look on their faces, just after the play, can be very interesting. -- PeterN |
