Actually, that is a nice image. I like it. If I really went to town on
if I might find an issue or two (some things urge me to dig ;-)), but
why? It is just fine.

Try not to be so effusive in your compliments, Duck.

What happened to your computer clock?
You seem to be an hour fast.

It should be right now. I corrected it sometime yesterday. The new
install of Windows after installing my new SSD left a few loose ends
at first. I think they're all covered now.

It still looks out. I am responding to this message at 14:05 PDT. My
Usenet client shows it as having reached my desktop at 14:28 PDT.

I just checked a message that I just sent. I sent it, then looked at
my iPhone, and the iPhone said 7:15. The message I just sent was time
stamped 19:14:49.

Then something screwy is happening to time in Florida, because even
this current message of yours has arrived on my server an hour ahead of
actual local time.

Technically I am replying to your post before I received it.

This message is being sent at 8:21 PM

....and local time right now in California is 5:23 PM. Your post arrived
at 06:21 PM local California time, almost a full hour before I send
this reply at 5:25 PM.

Check your computer.

It looks like you have the wrong time zone set.
Your message was posted at 20:21:40 -0500, or 01:21:40 UTC.
My response was sent at 17:25:55 -0700, or 00:25:55 UTC.

There is the hour difference.

I don't believe that Florida and California are separated by only 2
time zones. If I am not mistaken Florida should be at UTC -0400 for
EDST.

Something's weird. The computer says it's 8:57 PM as I write this,
and my iPhone says it's 8:57 PM, and the clock on the wall says it'
8:57.

I think it's something to do with either Agent or news.individual.net
and not my computer.

(By the time I press send the time may be a minute or two later)

It hasen't arrived here yet.

Did you check your time zone? If you have
the right time but the wrong zone it can be
translated across servers. You should have
Eastern Time, which should be automatically
adjusted for EDT.

You are three hours earlier.

Correct.

At 9 PM here you are at 6 PM.

As it should be, but you are still posting 1 hour in the future.

I have noticed that there is also a change in how you appear in the
"From" field. You went from showing "Tony Cooper" with
hidden by the delimiter to just
" no delimiter. So I suspect the issue might
well lie with ForteAgent or the 4ax.com server.

Yup! Tony is showing as using Central DST, or UTC -0500 rather than EDT
at UTC -0400.
