Any photographer who shoots what they (the photographer) wants, not
what the paying customer wants is a bit of a self-indulgent arse.

You can do self-expression on your own time.

the problem is that customers don't always know what they want. It is up
to the photographer to make sure that he and the customer are on the
same page. Part of the art of that type of photography is giving the
customer what he wants, which is not always the same as what the
customer says he wants.
