Default All Samsung Cameras bad????

I got a samsung 8.1 megapixel cam a while back. It was a very good
price but i found it to be lacking in a lot of areas. Its very slow
taking pictures, goes trhough high energy batteries like theres no
tomorow, and takes two commands sometoes to delete or edit
pictures??
Went to camera revies, and a lot say that all samsung cameras are bad,
is this so???

The Samsung GX-20 is fine. I don't really care for any of there current
P&S models. The new TL34HD looks interesting, but I'm sure that it's
pretty noisy.

The GX-20 is a rebadged Pentax DSLR with only minor differences but the
sensor is a joint effort between S&P. The sensor is good. I think
basically that Samsung are fairly new to the game and it takes a lot of
know-how to make a good camera in all aspects like speed, controls, image
quality. They're getting there.

They aren't all bad, but there is a big difference between
their entry level cameras and their higher end cameras.

The criticisms you have listed also apply to the entry level
Olympus, Fuji, Canon & Sony cameras too. Probably other
brands as well. With each of these brands, step up to the
next model in their range and you get a much better camera
for not many extra dollars.
