It certainly is not helpful. Therefore it is unhelpful. you're confused, as usual. i was merely commenting that there is a user selectable toggle to 'fix blurriness', something which is absolutely hilarious. Your comment was still unhelpful. If you still (hah) disagree with me, please explain the helpful nature of your comment. ¥ i told you so, i told you so ¥ someone *else* mentioned it, and its existence screams "we have no idea how to do graphics properly". as for what's causing your specific problem, i don't use the exact same hardware as you nor do i use lightroom on windows, therefore i have no suggestions what to do to remedy it, other than buy a mac because this would never happen on a mac ... What, never? no, never What, never? well, hardly ever That's better. ... however, that would not be helpful, so i didn't. And I haven't told you that at your worst you can be a cantankerous idiot. i haven't any sympathy for ill-bred taunts Non sequitur. End of predictably futile conversation. Two monitors with LR update - Problem

wrote: I use two identical Dell UP2516D 2560 x 1440 monitors driven by a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Display adapter. The operating system is the current 1803 version of Windows 10. When using Lightroom I do all my editing etc in the left hand monitor and use the right hand monitor for a full screen display. I have found this arrangement quite satisfactory for the last several years but, now, I have just downloaded the latest update for Adobe Lightroom and have found the second monitor behaving in a peculiar fashion. The images in the left hand monitor are quite sharp (and true to color) as usual but the definition of those in the right hand monitor range from not quite sharp to totally blurry. The results are not consistent in that if in develop mode I switch from a sharp image A to image B image B may be blurry one time and sharp another time. And then image A may be blurry while C is sharp. There is no consistency in what I can expect. I use my own images as desk top background and I have found them to always be consistently sharp in either monitor on every occasion. I think I can rule out the monitor as the cause. My suspicion is that the problem is somewhere in the software. My question is, has anyone else experienced or heard of this problem? For what it is worth: the following has just popped up as a notification from MS: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...ix-blurry-apps "If you have multiple displays connected to your PC or your display configuration changes, some desktop apps might appear blurry. " I haven't explored this yet but others may be interested in this s well as me. -- Regards, Eric Stevens |
