Default Fotoshoot 2 DVD web based service

URL: http://pixtools.org/

We run Fotomietstudio24.de, a photo studio that one can rent and we
process our own and some of our customers photo shootings. Lots and
lots of them!

To make life easier and allow us to quickly turnaround the results
from a shooting we developed our own workflow software to process
raw and/or jpg input images to batch generate an iso image containing
a slideshow plus music, original sized color, grayscale and sepia
images, resized color, grayscale and sepia images with copyright text
and/or copyright logo and contact sheet index images of the original
images. Just what you need after a shooting with a Model and he/she
wants a DVD of the shoot.

The goal of this service (alpha quality as far as wizbang aesthetics
are concerned) is to link our batch based workflow software (beta
quality but good enough for our internal usage) to a wider audience
for helping us to test and improve its functionality, robustness and
performance.

Eventually it is planned to offer all the workflow tools as seperate
online services but we wanted to actually put something out on the Net
sooner rather than later to allow people to look at what we are doing
so we are releasing the full blown application. Its highly customizable
by the use of %VARIABLES% ie. %MODEL% %LOCATION% etc.

You can try out "Make DVD" by simply filling out the form and uploading
a zip archive of your jpeg images (currently limited to max. size of
20 MByte during the test phase so please resize your images if they are
bigger). If you are using the service for the first time you will be
sent an email asking for confirmation of your email address. Once the
job completes you will be sent an email with a download link to the DVD
iso image.

Note: we run multiple queues on our cluster for TFP (free as in this
announcement) and also for PAY customers who obviously run at an higher
priority and have access to more funtcionality (ie. unlimited size and
we go and grab the images from customer site if desired etc.).

Anyway _constructive_ feedback is appreciated.

Iain
