Good news! The Chinese are making AF confirmation adapters for manual
lenses so you can use decent lenses on your Canon more easily!!

Note the subject line he I expect OM lenses to go up in price now.

Get a life? Is it the 1990s again? Lay off the old sitcoms.

The current bid is $325 - if the lens is in mint condition it should
fetch at least $750. It's a nice piece of glass - very fast and very
sharp. I could only afford its slower sibling, which was also a nice
piece of glass.

Somehow, I doubt old OM-1 users are driving this kind of price!!

This lens has always been expensive. Not that any PC lenses are
cheap. If you really want to bust the budget set your sights on the PC
Super-Anglon 28mm f/2.8 - that'll set you back ~$2500.

If my choices were between a used Zuiko Shift 24mm and a brand new
Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5L, I'd go with the Canon. It offers both Tilt and
Shift, it sells for about $700 less than the current bid price, and I
woudn't need a 3rd party adapter to mount it to my Canon.

Also, there's no way I'd buy this or any Zuiko Shift 24mm sight
unseen. I would want to see the condition of the front element.

And then there are these:

Hey give the guy a brake. Trolling is all he knows.

Well OK he likely is a better photographer them I am, but I have never
blamed my equipment for my lack of ability or skill.

I don't claim to be a better photographer than anyone. It's just a
hobby and I've never blamed equipment for any deficiencies it might
show.

You got to really think about a guy who is so centered on equipment and
fine differences between great equipment. Maybe he could be a really good
photographer if he spent that effort on perfecting his art.

You can actually do both. Fine differences between equipment is what
people look at when they are interested in getting the best value for
money.

http://www.stitchpix.com/canon24.html
"StitchPix verdict: Not the best 24mm, but the only one that tilts...

Superbly made L-class lens with fluorite elements and unique in offering
shift and tilt in the same axis (with a little factory modification),
this versatile lens has a mixed press with regard to optical quality:
some love it, others are disappointed. Most samples seem to perform
better than its woeful photodo rating suggests, but there's little doubt
that it doesn't perform well at the edge of its image circle. Though
direct comparisons are rare, the received wisdom is that the Olympus
24mm PC (if you can find one) justifies its extra cost. As with all 35mm
tilt lenses, you may find that 8° just isn't enough.

* Chromatic aberration, vignetting and resolution loss make movements
+8mm shift unviable for critical work. This limits the practical FOV to
nearer 18mm on full frame."

Also, there's no way I'd buy this or any Zuiko Shift 24mm sight
