Did you Photoshop all the snow out?

And this isn't meant as criticism, but they all seem a bit
underexposed. Is it just me?

It's probably me who is partial to really dynamic contrasts. I would love if I
could change the black point in the camera though, to get photos sooc that look
like this one:

For some reason the lighting bothers me. It seems a little harsh for a
small child. While I can't put my finger on it, I am thinking reverse
Rembrandt.

Why the monochrome treatment ? Especailly at a festival which
usually is colourfull, unless it's a darkwave or goth festival.
