Does anyone make a small-sized full frame DSLR or is there one in the works? Simplified: - full-frame sensors are available in top of the line cameras - small-sized cameras are entry level bottom of the line cameras So you have the choice between either-or but not both. jue |

Simplified: - full-frame sensors are available in top of the line cameras - small-sized cameras are entry level bottom of the line cameras This point I will not agree on, more middle as well I think and the middle will get smaller. So you have the choice between either-or but not both. jue |

Possibly sometime in the future. However at least in the past the smallest and lightest dSLRs on the market were the D40, the D60, the Rebel and one or two others. And all of them being entry level. While I agree that cameras in general are becoming smaller and lighter, I still believe that middle and top of the line will remain larger and heaver than their bottom of the line contemporaries. jue |

But the middle is getting larger: 5D (850 gm) = A900 (895 gm) = D700 (1074 gm). -- David J. Littleboy Tokyo, Japan |

Gram meter doesn't make much sense, gigameter even less and would be abbreivated as Gm anyway.... jue |
