: Samsung is a heavyweight that should be taken seriously.
: One need only look at the wireless phone market.

The relevance of Samsung's presence in the wireless phone market is of
questionable relevance in this context. How many Nikon or Canon mobile phones
have you looked at lately?

I am trying to get a Samsung Blu-ray player repaired under waranty. I am
geting a runaround. After 4 phone calls and checking their website,
nothing has been resolved. A supervisor located in the Philipines told me
they will call me in 3 days. I'm sure I'll never hear from them. I will
never buy another Samsung product.

Samsung is a heavyweight that should be taken seriously.
One need only look at the wireless phone market.

And this has just what to do with digital photography?

He can burn his images to a DVD and watch them on TV?

Samsung sucks. After Christmas last year, I saw PILES of their Blu-Ray
players being returned at a couple stores. They consistently rate near the
bottom when it comes to product reliability. Stick with Japanese
companies, even though most of their stuff is made in China now.
