If you're concerned about following tinyurl links blindly, you can turn on their preview feature which shows you the target URL for your examination prior to linking. http://tinyurl.com/preview.php I don't know if the other URL-shortening services have a similar feature. Thanks, though I was aware of that, it was just that in my experience, people who say 'take a look at my new website' and give you a TinyUrl(or similar) link are usually sending you to some affiliated website.
